I would give an award to this anime. Cowboy bebop's characters situations are like what people have.A summary of one phrase for Bebop from me is,"The Real Folk Blues".It captures an existance,ya know?So,what do think?

"The Real Folk Blues" gets its name from actual compilation albums from actual American blues artists between 1965 and 1967. All the song is about is just the tragedy that is Spike and Julia. If you look at the lyrics, it's even in Spike's point of view.

Nonetheless, the question that you are asking is absolutely silly seeing as that every work of fiction is a reflection of real life. That's the whole point of fiction.

for me Bebop is like an old freind, that i Never get tried of and really the reason that it has become a classic with fans it because it simple and the tunes are the the best with that old jazz beats..because you have four difters, trying to find their memories. or another view of it is old souls for a new age.. Or another veiw it is you can'y run from your past no matter how far you run..

Artistic Anarchy

Cowboy Bebop blends so many different types of music, customs and cultures, which made as great of an anime as it was. It sort of gave you the bigger sense of "Don't sweat the small stuff, because it's all small stuff." Spike was a deeper character than most thought. He had a troubled past a confusing present and an unpredictable future, something a lot of people can relate to. Nothing else could have been done to make this an any greater anime besides continuing it a little longer.

I think you can say that with any anime around these days, Very little of it is completely made up, teh reason why anime is so fascinating to begin with is because it reflects a culture different from are own. If you think cowboy Bebop imitates life and to some extent it does then you should watch Millenium Actress.
