Would you all agree if I say he’s the cutest Martian! Do you also see the similarity of Spike from Lupin? Lupin is a character from another cartoon series. They have the same fashion style and both wear similar boots.

ummm so spike is cool. but i dont know about lupin and spike being the same. like lupin is more of a theft the a cowboy but they do have simular fighting styles and are both long and lenky so i dont know if the boot have any thing to do with it. but ya there kindof the same mabye lupin is spike in the past and he learned his way to be better lol i dont know.

i would say hes more of a mix between jigen and lupin because he looks like lupen but i think he acts more like jigen. i think this because lupin is an idiot and is all the time messing up. and jigen is more laid back and quite kinda like spike is.

Nope. Sorry. I can't see the resemblence.
Perhaps in the look, yeah... Slightly. The tall skinny look.
But as far as personality, no way.
Spike has other things on his mind that no one will know about. He's quiet, chill, and witty. He kicks booty when need be, and is an ace pilot.
Lupin is distracted by boobs and money, and is a thief...
But who said there was anything wrong with that? LOL!
Spike is pretty much the male version of me... I am exactly like his character. I think that's why I loved the show so much when I first saw it. I saw Spike's character and said, "Hey! I do that!" lol!

Anywho, yes Spike is cool, and as far as general character design and dress yes Lupin and Spike look a like...but faces not even close. So I would say that them looking kind of a like is just because it's anime and a lot of anime characters are drawn somewhat alike

the way they dress is indeed similar, and i hear that he was inspired by lupin's boots for spike. but the similarities seem to end there. spike is a bounty hunter, lupin is a thief.i like both shows, but spike is cooler to me.

only dress similarities ,but huge hole of differences between them ... but ofcourse i'd go to spike's side he's one of my top anime characters upon all others ...
