I have to admit, I liked Glenn/Gren best out of the series, though Ed's pretty closely tied. He's a minor character who sticks around only for two episodes, but there was still just something that grabbed my attention about his concept and his personality. Eh, I guess I'm a sucker for musicians, though. But Ed's right behind him with her genius skills and goofy exterior.

I think it may be obvious who my favorite character is.
Spike is the male equilvalent of me...
Relaxed, smooth, loves sleep and smoking... lol
I just relate to him. I remember when I first saw Bebop, and immediately gravitated towards his character.
I also love him because I've been studying the same martial art: Jeet Kune Do. ^_^

I have to say that Spike is my favorite Cowboy Bebop character, because he does his own thing. He's stubborn and yet he has that one person that can make him stop dead in his tracks and when it come taking care of business, you can believe it will get done, just not with a smile lol!

but,
I'd most like to hang out with Jet when he's out.n.about while they're off galavanting 'round the asteroid. He's laid back with that mix of steadfastness and his sense of honor but still has own wild side too.

yep, I think Jet's my favourite. Even with that said though, they all come in first place in their own ways ....even Ein.!

Spike's probably my fav, because he's lazy, loves to sleep, knows how to fight and shoot well, and stick to his morals, even though he doesn't have much. He's also reckless sometimes, but carefree most of the times, and there are many qualities that make him a good character. Pretty simple character, but complex at times, which makes him unique in many ways as a main character.
