Re: Did InuYasha drag in for too long

Yeah, most definitely. InuYasha just drags on and on. -.-;
A few years ago, I thought it was the best anime ever (well, maybe I exaggerated a little). But nowadays, when I look back at InuYasha, I cringe. lol.
A lot of InuYasha episodes were very pointless. They should really reduce some fillers in there.

Re: Did InuYasha drag on for too long

I believe the episodes dealing with the Shichinintai dragged on too long with fillers. I personally, really enjoy Inuyasha including the four movies. The only reason I would say it seems a bit long is because there has not been a conclusion. I am really looking forward to see if Kagome or Kikyo get together with Inuyasha. (I know I am probably going to start an age old debate on who would be better), If Kagome is going to stay in the feudal era or go back to her own time. Will the shard be whole again and will there be no demons?
There is no reference that I have found that states how long a demon lives. I also have not seen a reference that Sessho-maru is alive and well in Kagome's time so something had to have happened. I would like a conclusion and waiting can be so flustrating.

At least with Fruits Baskets anime, which left things hanging also, there seemed to be less things to tie up. In my opinion, Inuyasha has too many loose ends that need to be tied up that give the sense that the series dragged on.

I loved the show to but there were a lot of random episodes that had no point so it was longer than it should have been.

Re: Did InuYasha drag on for too long

I loved Inuyasha and I still love the characters (though I would tweek some) but they definitely overdid the fillers with this anime but sadly that’s what usually happens with mainstream anime based on a still active manga series. (cough-Naruto-cough-Bleach-cough) I like to read the manga rather watch the anime when it comes to this series. Then I don’t have to deal with the fillers.

Re: Did InuYasha drag on for too long

i agree that Inuyasha did drag on........ for quite a while. sometimes i feel that is shouldn't have but other times i feel that it should've been even longer. but mostly i think it did last a very long time, but i still loved every minute of it!

InuYasha could have kept going, but they lost viewers. I like the show, but I hate the fact they cancled it right at the most suspenceful part!

Well i think they had alot of usless episodes for a long time it was the same old thing and he learned a new move every 8000 episodes and they could not kill the bad guys and it should have been shorter that would have made the series better.

It's true that it went on, but they could have at LEAST have InuYasha kil Naraku to end the series. That and have Kagome and InuYasha marry.

Re: Did InuYasha drag on for too long

It did really drag on with pointless episodes. The show could have done without many of them. Some had really no point to being even in the show. But I still love the show alot.
