    i say dog but i think it wouldnt appeal if inuyasha was just half deamon half human cats dont listen to sit at least my sisters cat doesnt my dog does though

    I really don't think it would make a difference because the fact that they are "dog" demons really does not play an important role. People pull on his ears, and Kagome sometimes speaks to him like a dog....So it's just not that important to the show so it really would not matter if it were different.

    Ya you hit the nail on the head...i forgot about the whole name thing...ya we rest our case...But it would be really cool if they used cats though....ilove cats....but what would Kagome's command be?

    He is a dog i asked that once to but he is a dog his ears are small type of dog ears.

    When I first saw that I thought Inuyasha was a cat because of those ears. Those look more like cat ears,but he's a dog. I also thought Shippo was a girl.Then I figured it out.
