Hey guys, dunno if this is out yet but the manga series ended recently on 18th June, 2008, with a total of 558 episodes. I heard that they are planning to make a 30 min OVA shortly... I'm waiting ^^
Inuyasha's journey has been going on for 12 years... and of course I feel a bit sad to know that it's finally coming to an end. I myself didn't use to read the manga, but I watched all of the anime, and I really liked it.
I hope Takahashi Rumiko would have a new story waiting for us >///< I really like her works~~~

I'm thinking of reading it as well! Reason I didn't read it is because it's waaayyy to long ^^" I think I'll catch up when I have time! I'm really interested in how the characters ended up XD
Same here. I have watched all the episodes and I read some of the mangas after it. I am so interested on what happens to all the characters.

That is pretty true. Although, I gotta say, the Soten episode was great. It was really cute, with Soten falling in love Shippo in the end. It's too bad that wasn't in the manga.
I've read the ENTIRE manga, and I think it ended great and yet a little anti-climactic at the same time. Read it and you'll know why.
in all honesty, manga or anime, the whole series seems a bit drawn out to me. i;m very surprised it finally ended, however i can;t complain about what i did see. I certainly did like the story and characters, but the filler made it almost unwatchable.
Why hello there!
I have seen most of the anime and all of the movies. I liked it alot but from what I have read here I think I will start reading the manga. I hope its as good as some of you are saying it is. Heres hoping.
