After watching what I thought was a crappy ending to Inuyasha it seems like it wasn't. Does Inuyasha continue through the movies or is that a whole diffrent story line?

The movies were still good even though they weren't related to the story line

the first or second one I forgot which was about how they thought they killed naraku(dunno how to spell)

The 2nd one is kind of related but they didn't really kill naraku but he pretended to be dead and then just gose off to something else and the 1,3, and 4 are not related at all.
