Bebop ending was one of my Fave's, Spikes character never changed in anyway. But i felt that He was only alive because Julia was alive, and when she died, there was no reason for his existance anymore..........well thats how he must have felt anyway.

I did like it when his last word was "bang" its a typical Spike moment!!

I actually think that Spike did change, even if it was just a little bit, at the end of the series. He always kept his past and feelings to himself, but in the last moments he spent with Jet and especially Faye he opened up to them. To Jet it was in a form of a story, the one with the tiger. But with Faye he said exactly why he was going to fight Vicious, yeah it was still a bit cryptic but I think it was the simplest way Spike could open up to Faye. Then again maybe it's just my overactive imagination talking.
