The general rule with 'Fanservice' intense series is that the use of 'skin' is an attempt to cover up poor writing and poor pacing of episodes. But 'Mahoromatic' (Two seasons of 12 and 14 episodes, plus 1 'Summer Special' OVA episode, licensed for US/Canada/Region1 distribution by GENEON USA) is the delightful exception that proves the rule... (But be forwarned, 'Mahoromatic' also has one of the worst endings to a great anime series...)

Yes, there is more than needed amount of fan service but overall it is still a great series!! But as Miyata-san just mentioned above though, the ending SUCKS!!! Everything was great up til the last episode...after that things were like "umm...ok, this just went from Fantastic!! to Good"
Still, this is a great series to check up on!! ^^
