    Akira Toriyama's Last Anime!!!

    Wikipedia - Akira Toriyama

at the end of the article, Toriyama states that Blue Dragon (an anime based on the Xbox360 game of the same title) will be his last animated work!

T_T he will be truly missed!

Indifference....at least for me. I really enjoyed Toriyama's work growing up, Dr. Slump, Dragon Ball. He even did the artwork for two of my fav games Dragon Quest/ Chrono Trigger. But ultimately I've sort of outgrown his style. Kudos for his long successful body of work.

i agree, i mean, i realise he was a great person, but i didnt really explore his stuff other than Dragon Ball.

that said, dragon ball is probably the most influential series of all time. 'most every show, japaneese or not, has someone doing a Kamehameha type move, among other things.

Miyazaki is quitting after this next movie, too it is a sad time of anime classics...

These people probelly work very long hours. I beileve after a person is 50 or older it is ok for them to retire. I will miss the type of video games he helped make.

That's a shame. Any loss to anime, is a great loss.
