i have been trying to find this anime for a while also
i have yet to see it myself but i have heard some awesome
things about this anime was wondering if anyone here might
no where i might buy it or if it is a serise that is in the US or will be
in the US any time soon?

ADV Films had the license for 'Battle Angel Alita' (which as been out of print since 2000...) When James Cameron bought up the rights for his 'Battle Angel' movie project, he also bought up the anime rights as well (which is why it's out of print!!!)
If the movie project ever gets finished, then we might see a rerelease of the anime as a marketing tie-in, but until then...

I read until the sixth volume of this manga:
I only touched the first page, but now-a-days, I am kept very busy with all the school work, so I couldn't find time to finish it. I think Gunnm has a pretty good plot line and the character designs are excellent.
Oh yeh, I have finished reading Hunter x Hunter - randomness.
