Alright guys, who has watched the 1st ep of "Angel Beats"?

So I watched the first episode of angel beats on TV a few nights back. I was really hyped for this mainly because it was written by Jun Maeda,(The guy that wrote Air, Clannad, both EPIC) and the fact that it was animated by PA Works, which I believe animated "Canaan", which I thought had exceptional animation.

I mean I was really REALLY hyped...

But did it live up to the hype?

Not really...

I mean, the dialogue seemed a little cheesy, the animation was good, but just didn't seem to give me a hype, not to mention that I didn't like the Character design too much either...
I'll judge if I'll keep watching this or not on the second ep, but...

Anyways, did anybody watch the first episode? What are your first thoughts?

i think the 2nd episode was really great when we learned yuri's past . i actually was reallly into this series in the middle but near the end when . . .

angel was on the SSS side it all kinda fell apart to me . the series finale was also sorta boring to me since thats not really my things . i lyk romance nd all but theres gotta be a bit of excitement. 0h well i enjoyed the series overall:)

My first thoughts when watching Angel Beats the first episode was that it was interesting and it had me going cause it got better and better each time the characters were in action or there was a type of tragic between them.

i thought that it could have been better from the first episode but as it progressed i thought that it was really good as you slowly learned about peoples past

=/ i really liked angel beats. it wasn't my favorite anime but it definitely ranks in my top 10 ^^

I have watched it. It was very exciting and interesting.
