Hello everyone been a while and i thought it was time i write a thread and see how it goes.

For some time i have begun to notice that more and more Fanservice is being shown on anime (which is fine by me ) but recently they have shown more and more "Younger" fanservice and somehow manage to find the loopholes in order to do so...for example;

1. At the end of Tenchi muyo special: Pretty Sammy it is clear Sasami is naked and shows her body to the full but this is deemed ok by the broad because although Sasami APPEARS 12 she is infact 8,000 years old and thus old enough

2. in the Hentai Wet summer days a girl appearing to be far younger than the age restriction on any anime engages in the sort of action you would normally see in that genre and they still managed to get away with it by claiming that the young girl NEVER EXISTED she was merely a dream

Now please don't get me wrong if your a fan of Fanservice but the introduction of "Minor Fanservice" is in most cases wrong and sick i mean come on the website Anime-Fanservice has a gallery of Azumanga Diaoh which is about a Japanese school for 12 to 16 y/o girls

Well people actually like it, so there is a reason for producers to be making more of this type of anime genre.

No anime isn't becoming too perverted. The perversion actually decreased in recent years as far as I can see.

ano...... hai, I agree that the ages are getting far too young... and they complain about child porn! Then what is THAT???

My opinion is that hentai is okay in its own way... [for those of us OLD ENOUGH to have fetishes... ] For reasons like "oh, she was a dream," or "no no, she was REALLY actually a 10k year old alien... Get real!!!! " Where did common sense run off to????

Seriouisly, do us all a favor and keep it AT LEAST 15 or 16 and above

Well fanservice is one method of grabbing the attention of the audience. Honestly though I think that today's anime is slightly more perverse then most of the older ones...but it really depends on the title. Some are SPECIFICALLY made for fan service so....*cough*Girls Bravo*cough* Mahoromatic*cough*

....and as reply for #2 reasoning. It IS hentai so they can already get away with pretty much anything. The char could LOOK only 10yrs old but long as the set age is over 18 then I dont think that it'd matter...

I agree with Hassun. Anime has been becoming a little more aware of how much "skin" to show, or how much of "this" should happen. I don't think anime is becoming too perverted. I mean don't get me wrong, the do have anime just for hentai and yaoi and whatnot, but that isn't common towards normal viewers of anime. It isn't becoming perverted at all in my opinion.

It could be that your simply watching the wrong Anime series. There are a number of recent Anime series with little to no fan service (e.g. 'Kamichu', 'Kaleido Star', 'Best Student Council', 'Petite Princes Yucie', 'Gankutsuou', 'Ergo Proxy') because fanservice would distract from the story their trying to tell...

Maybe this thread question should actually be 'Are you watching too many perverted Anime series'...
