Thread: Anime Recommendations for a newbie??

Try Hellsing or Hellsing Ultimate. Which the latter follows the manga storyline closer and the visuals are a lot btr. You like Death Note which is dark and clever and like things like Bleach and Shipuuden which holds action and I feel this anime combines two of the core qualities of that.

Excellent XD My favorite part of Death Note was the mental cat and mouse game, and I loved the way it toyed with my sense of right and wrong. I really enjoy clever, mentally engaging storylines. I'll add those to my list. Thanks again!

I am fairly new too, but your list is similar to my taste, so I will give you a few more titles that I liked. Ergo Proxy, Coyboy Bebop, Wolf Rain, Darker than Black, and I just watched Ghost Hound. I liked it. There are some good movies too. I can't remember the titles, but if you like this list, let me know. I will look up more. I am in the same situation as you. Looking for new stuff. If you think of anything else you liked, let me know

I reccomend Neon Genesis Evangelion. This is a much beloved Anime series, and I can see why, it's got an amazing storyline. Also check out Soul Eater, DNAngel, Claymore, and Cowboy Bebop. =)

seacond what is the type that you are looking in the anime that you want , Romance , Comedy , Drama , Horror , Blood ? ... chose a type and i am sure that will help everyone suggest animes ^_^
