Thread: Anime Relationships.

I have a decent amount, most of them being the "outcast" type, including myself and also in my school people try to hide things quite a bit because there's some that often bully or even beat up kids who "like that stupid s**t." It's happened to me on many occasions. So I tend not to say anything unless I know it's 'secretive'.

Well I used to think that there weren't to many people around where I live that like to watch anime. But then I went to a convention. There are alot more people that watch anime than you think there are. I was susprised at how many there were. And not all young kids in school. The first con I went to was run by college students and older people. It was a blast. So you can make a ton of friends at a con. I might be from a small town, but I have alot of friends that watch anime. But I do also have a small group that I see often, where I live. It takes all kinds to like anime, and I haven't met an uninteresting person yet.

Well for me i would go that there is a small amount of portion of student that are interested into Anime since i found out that there was only about 5% of the group that like Anime were getting dull every day til' last few months i decided to join into this forum because it was mostly in getting more updates of different varities of Animes that i still havent heard or watched and second just wanted to do a little both but mostly in meeting people with the same common things as well.

this's just the same with me .. watching anime is looked as a childish act .. pretty stupid and unobservant of them but anyway just like you .. Loyal to anime forever!

no that's not the case here ... i mean "otoku" here is the word said to someone obsessed with political issue since other things are regarded with scorn ... very depressing and heavy on me but i used to it and i'm living my days .....

Well at my school i have plenty of friends who are interested in anime, well all watch most of the same shows but the ones that we dont watch we tell each other about, mainly the people mostly in to it are the 10-12 graders, and all the rest are just naruto fans, and they are the youung kids, some times tha tgets annoying that all they talk about is sakuke and i dont like him, but yeah us older ones we talk about death note, chobits, and blood plus, but also like code geass, not many have seen so i talk to them about it, some of the more popular people watch it but they dont talk about it, but at random thats what we all have in common. wel the big subject that we are on is Yaoi, i have been drawing alot of that lately, and so every one talks about it, but we use the word yaoi in stead of gay, because its like a code, and we dont need to get ion to troulbe, cuz then others dont know what we are talking about, lol any who most of my frinds have other things in common with me besides anime though, and they are all cool!

lets not forget those who dont like anime are mostly those who choose not to reconize how good it is because they wanna try and act adult or doesn't know how to loosen up in life and explore the maney wonders that life holds and there is a massive percentage who love anime that there is no estimate of exacly how maney....

Yeah that is true, I have had some people tell me I am too old for such things. Mainly my grandmother who sees them as foolish cartoons.
Alot of people from my school have just never heard of it period. If I ever mention it they think I am talking about some type of porn O_o. Those that have heard of it judge see them as just cartoons and turn away from then very quickly.
