Which Anime series would you recommend?

Basil is out. It's another take on some ninjas, except without the ninja powers. There's just plain out sword and martial arts. Good stuff.

thanks guys, by new level of power i was referring to the characters able to gain a new stage of ability for example: dragonball z's super sayian, an bleach's bankai and yeah i think you get the idear.

Are you talking about Basilisk? Because that one definately has weird ninja powers in it.

Well since i like to play sports, there is this one new anime out...called PRINCE OF TENNIS its both funny and action-packed...well sort of.....but still i like watching it.

You might also want to check out Full Metal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell if your looking for a good story.;)

i would personally say that one of my fave ones was bleach too LOl it went up to 107 and completly stopped...

a good one is either naruto or negima ( first season, second sux) or if u want a funny one watch azumanga daioh is completly only for pot heads LOl XD

You might want to look into InuYasha for that then. I mean yes I know some people bash it because it can get a bit corney but all and all I thought it was a good series. Plus there is a good amount of action, but still an emphasis on the storyline, and there is lots of gaining new power
