Thread: Anyone Know These Anime?

Airgear is a series and Appleseed is a move. Both are good. Airgear is about air blade skating, roller bladeing with a kick. Appleseed is about AI's and the future of mankind.

wait a minute, i am probably wrong on this but air gear isn't the same as the series getting ready to debut known as air tv is it?

No they are two different shows. Airgear is all about skating and Air tv well it's kinda different. It's about a guy looking for an angle and helping out some young girls in a village. I couldn't really get into watching the whole thing but they are two different shows. If on the rare chance that I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Air Gear is already out. I've watched the first two episodes on demand. Horray for Comcast! ^_^ Appleseed is old news. It came out a loooong time ago. I'd say around 1995? Don't quote me on it. All I know is that it was out when I was in high school. So it's pretty ancient. It's created by Shirow Masamune--same person who made Tank Police and Ghost in the Shell--and as far as I know is just a movie. I haven't seen any Appleseed series previews, but I have seen the manga before, if that helps.

that's quite right Air Gear is about using ATs(Air Tricks)to fly in the air and use the sky as their infinite playground ,i have watched all the series and they're just perfect
