It wasn't a bad anime but it wasn't very good either.
The story dragged on for way too long and got boring.

i agree with Hassuny, It was very goodup until the gore and blood, but the whole trip to get things sorted out got very boring, although some parts were good, it did drag on a bit. The ending was ..."sweet" but i wish it worked out differenty.
The character and skills range was mildly entertaining. the women characters were verywell "designed". excellent artwork.

this show is so cool, and u saw the ending

lucky, my cable got conked out, so i am like missing this show

i didn't really get too far into it, because well i thought it was kinda freaky. Still i think after the first ep, i never picked it back up again.
Though it has been a while since i watched the first ep.

Basilisk is a good anime the animation for one is supreb. And the action is very well done. Allthough some of the ninja powers were very bizzare. It mixed action with romance well but like others have said it tends to drag.

I agree with SnakeEyes, It wasn't good or bad. And as Hassun said the story was kinda dragged on. Basilisk had really great fighting scenes and if the story wasn't so dragged, I think it would've been a much better series to watch. The movie version, Shinobi, of this series was also interesting. There were some nice CGs done in the movie and although the movie was kinda a summarize version the anime, it was still worth watching.
