Basilisk was not that great. What do you think?

I just finished watchin Basilisk...the story was ok and the action was too fast...most of there fights were over so quickly and people dropped like flies. Oboro was so passive and indecisive that towards the end I was rooting for her to die and for it to be over with...the ending I didnt like at all. But if anyone wants to discuss that I could make a thread in the Spoiler Talk section. But overall I really thought Basilisk would be better but it was like a 2out of 10 for me. What do you all think?

whoa,2/10,since u dislike basilisk so much,why u watch all of it then?i like it very much n will give 10/10,d opening n ending song r wonderful n d anime characters r beautifully drawn.i like oboro's eyes,round n beautiful.n d ninja story is great,i love d ending

ive seen one episode, and i thinks its ok. i seen it on IFC. it was the next to last episode.

The 'guys dropping like flies' is normal in all the stories based on "The Kouga Ninja Scrolls". That's just the way the story goes.

It was so-so in my opinion, they didn't do enough with the basic story to stand out from the others like Ninja Scroll (film, not series).

I have to say that I really didn't like the ending of Basilisk. I kinda figure out that all of the guys would drop like flies. Though I have never seen "The Kauga Ninja Scrolls." Since I did hear that this anime was sort of based on these films.

I would have liked to have seen the fights last a little longer myself, but other than that is was an amazing story, and very well put together.

A little more character developement could have helped the story. I would give it an 8 out of 10. Well deserving to be in my collection.

I've liked it a lot, even though the fights didn't last that long and all the characters die. It had a great story. I give it a 9/10.
