great sig by Lasura thanks heaps
it become a little popular so we could say that it was kinda good.
I'm gonna give a little look into the history of B-Daman (which by the way I should point out that the titles are from the Japanese word for marble = Beedama, hence the name B-Daman. LOL) as I grew up with the fad which started off from the popular toy and mangas.
B-Daman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The first B-Daman associated anime was the "Bomberman B-daman" series. Yes, THE Bomberman from the Bomberman games from Hudson. The series aired during Sunday mornings and did surprisingly well as the first season had a total of 48episodes and the second season to follow with 50episodes. The first season kinda focused on the whole Good vs. Evil (surprised? LOL) thing as in the second season started off the characters being cops...than into the Good vs. Evil again. XD
Along the same time came the "Super B-Daman" anime series which was actually incorporated into a seperate TV show known as "Oha-Suta" which was generally like the morning news for kids on updates of upcoming games, animes, and toys.
The series that followed is the series that is more familiar for you guys as its the one that aired in the US. Its quite surprising how far some fads can go no?

I totally forgot posting here, Battle B-Daman belongs to a group of shows that aren't really my cup of tea. For me, it is simply blatant advertising for the line of schoolyard toys present in the show and those shows that came before it as Shinku no Kage have stated.
In comes Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden (since it has been opened up in the previous post) and Victory(the 2nd season), while it involves the familiar B-Daman elements if you guys see or have seen the show it is clearly diff'rent than its cousins overall. As stated, it was as simple as good and evil but it had sci-fi and medieval fantasy -which was a popular thing during the 90s- elements in it. Unlike its cousins, the focus isn't on the schoolboys and their schoolyard games.
Truth be told, I thought this anime sucked. I got bored quickly with the plot line and it seemed like many of the other game animes that came out around that time.
"What part of Evil don't you understand?"
