Grumble Grumble Grumble

The Offical Black Lagoon Anime Website from FUNimation
For those of you who haven't seen the series, you can describe it as a darker and grittier, (and much more violent) Cowboy Bebop type series. The main character, who starts out as a mild mannered Japanese office cubicle worker, is sent out on a courier mission, and kidnapped by a band of vicious modern day pirates who ply the waters off of South East Asia. Re: Black Lagoon (Season 1 & 2)
I follow the manga intently and the anime was top notch as well... Right until the second part of Second Barrage. Oh man oh man, the Engrish was so horrific it felt like trying to fill up the root canal in ever single one of my teeth with hydrochloric acid.

Re: Black Lagoon (Season 1 & 2)
I followed the series upon its original release and got what I could before Geneon USA kicked the bucket. Never followed the second season, but I did enjoy the first season. The characters didn't seem to be generic, or at least had enough meat to them that they rose above the generic stereotype.
