ok i have seen most of the series on an anime channle uncut and just recently
found out it was a manga first ,but i really enjoyed this anime as it was really detailed with the the monsters but they left things out that were in the manga , i have been trying t find a site or maybe a place that might have this
show, but what i thought inwould introduce this anime since i have never
really seen anyone talk about it . my self i enjoyed what i saw of it
and though the plot was very good along with a few cool monsters as well.

I've seen Blue Seed several times as it is the absolute favorite of the Empress. We own the whole series on DVD plus the movie.

From what I've seen around the Webiverse, the plot is based very loosely on some Japanese folklore. I've seen elements from Blue Seed pop up in other anime and some live-action films also.

On the down side, the english-language voice actress for Momiji (Amanda Winn Lee) should be forced into retirement with the amount of unnecessary screaming she did.
