Both of those are solid and classics. Thought I have not seen Genshiken, the manga is one of my favorites.Azumanga Diaoh, Genshiken for comedy.
A decent classic that would fit in the comedy/romance/action genre is Ranma 1/2 I was laughing out loud every episode of the first season, but it dragged on for far too long and then just ended without concluding the story or romance at all. :/
5 centimeters per second is a great but short romance story that I highly recommend. FLCL is also a great short series that's all about the comedy. Higurashi is a must watch for anyone that enjoys thriller/suspense types. Komodo no Jinkan is a pretty funny romance if you don't mind love between a grade schooler and a teacher(there is also fanservice). Can't really think of any others currently.
Oh Tokimeki is a staple light romance series.

Yeah, I know how you feel. I have been looking for a good series for a while now. I starting watching Kuroshitsuji / Black Butler today, and I found my good series. Its really funny! The music is awesome, you may want to check it out if you like comedy's. It's got a twisted dark side to the comedy, which is my favorite part.

why don't you try Darker Than Black >,< it is really good anime i really like the storyline becasue it make you watch this anime with the music and the great story ^,^ it is one of my favorites ... =^_^=

well since u like thriller/ suspense, i would have to say proably death note.

If you like suspense or even spirit/ghost material I would like to suggest you to watch Bakemonogatari. It has very unique graphic and visual style which you may recognize it's made by SHAFT with Negima!? was their previous work. The story tells you around Japanese-folk ghost story served with current and modern lifestyle... A lot of scenes are intended to frighten people, however thanks to SHAFT's colorful art, you might experience 'different' feel of fear^^
Currently it aired it's 11th episode, and it's still my ongoing anime.

hmmm i also sugest to love-ru i watched the first ep today its a comady/romance and others. but i wont watch more eps before i finish orphen
