Newbie | Cardcaptor sakura, english or subbed When watching CCS would you rather watch an english show, or a subbed show. Personally I would rather watch the subbed shows. One example would be that in the english version, the relationship between sakura-chan and li-kun is not specifically defined. Whereas in the japanese, it is. I want to see what you all think, so give it your best shot!

Upcoming Legend | Re: Cardcaptor sakura, english or subbed Jesus, the dub was an atrocity. I first watched the dub on tv, and I found it beyond horrible. After a few episodes, I just couldn't take it and ended up watching the subs. I heard it was severely edited, not that I care since I watch it already. Well ccs proved to be better than I expected. Thought it would be too girlish for me to watch. |

Shichibukai | Re: Cardcaptor sakura, english or subbed Seriously, all anime that are dubbed have been altered from its original version and has lost its "appeal" to me.it is lacking in quality because it leaves out parts that is of great importance to its story thought the producers don't seem to realise this. |

The thing is when an anime is dubbed in English most of the time they become raelly bad, the English voice actors are bad and they leave importend tings out. |

Newbie | Re: Cardcaptor sakura, english or subbed I watched both the english version and the subbed version. Personally, I think both versions are okay but if asked to choose which is better, I would say subbed version hands down. I am also interested in learning japanese so it would be another advantage. The english version of ccs, however, sounds a little weird. Another thing about the subbed version is that the voices are really really very cute. So all in all subbed version definitely wins. |
