Chobits

I just couldn't help seen that there was not a chobits tread. So what do you guys think about it.

I just recently finished the serie and to be honest I like it a lot. I think I never seen an anime like this before. I like the whole persacon plot.

I've read the first book and watch episodes 1-3. It was cool but I never really had time to go through it. One part that sticks in my head is when he went to buy her panties, lol. He'd always stand up at the underwear shop and the women were getting freaked out, lmao.

I know that is one of my favorite lines in the whole series. I watched the whole thing in youtube.

I love Chobits! It was a really great anime! Chi was my most favorite character I thought she was cute! ^^ And I agree with you syd , a very good plot on the persacon indeed! :D:

That kid was pathetic, lol. I loved when he got happy when she learned his name. Then the look on his face when she started calling everything she say his name. It was priceless. I should start watching it right now since I have time.

yes every girl who likes this kind of anime says the same..."omg i love chobits" and I have to admit it Chobits Rocks, im tryin to find on this category one which could bit Chobits...and i found good ones but nothin compared with CHOBITS...

I thought Chobits was incredibly sexist and cliche...

Don't get me started on DearS, Ah! My Goddess, etc. The whole Japanese male fantasy "I want someone without any free-will to drop out of the sky and love me for no good reason... preferably while showing me their panties every 5.2 minutes and doing my dishes" strikes me as one of the most insipid and pathetic fantasies ever.

It belongs in porn.

I have a hard time believing in a serious romance where one partner has the mind of a 6 year-old, a slave collar, has no human capacity for experience/emotion or any sort of contract preventing them from doing anything but.

You realize that Chobits is fantasy about a man falling in love with a love doll?
... and that men ACTUALLY do this...

Maybe it's different for me because I have to live in this cultural and deal with men on a daily basis who REALLY believe that all women have a Belldandy inside them just waiting to be bought with enough Louis Vitton merchandise ~_~; But stuff like Chobits makes me wish I were a lesbian.

Not that most shoujo manga these days has any more positive messages to send girls. Except maybe "Screw that Belldandy stuff: you can get MORE Louis Vitton merchandise if you're a sexually promiscuous idol singer and wear way too much makeup."
