Christmas Anime Hey everyone just wanting to ask if anyone has there favorite Christmas Anime you had since the past few years? Please Explain Why?
For me i am barely into Christmas Anime and since this is my first time into reading and i dont know the name of it because is really interesting with Drama, Humor, and moslty happy but often is sad.

I don't think there is any "Christmas anime". (in the Japanese anime sense)
Japan isn't a Christian nation.
There are some Christmas anime EPISODES... but I don't think there's any Christmas anime ^^; (Unless you count the bible shorts animated in Japan for EWTTN... there might be something there)

I'd say one OVA (30-45 minutes) doesn't account for much more than one episode ^^;
I nominate the anime versions of "A Dog of Flanders" as Christmas anime.
I would think Love Hina Christmas Movie would qualify.Even if it is a special and not an actual "Christmas anime".

The only Santa that I've actually seen in an anime was from Hayate no Gotoku, where he got to deck Santa Clause in the face. Priceless.
And as for Len's link about "My Santa", Ken Akamatsu is my favorite mangaku, but I have to admit, My Santa looks less than appealing to me. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out sometime.
