![]() Credits: 77,346 | Code Geass- Alternate timeline? I was checking out some stuff about the Holy Britanian empire, right? thinking it was from Great Britan (hence the name, or so i thought.) it turns out, the Empire is based in the Americas. according to Wikipedia, the british isles where lost to the rest of europe in the 1800's. so is this an alternate reality, where the USA didn't rebel from England, and went on to be the mainland of england? just a thought, and a good idea for a disscussion. ![]()

![]() Credits: 23,008 | Re: Gode Geass- Alternate timeline? Code Geass is set in an alternate history. I thought that was pretty obvious... The first episode etablishes the date with "a.t.b. 2017" or "Imperial Calendar" if you watched the American dub. Quote from Wikipedia: This divergence in history causes many other differences: the retaining of absolute monarchy, the suppression of the American colonies' rebellion in 1776 and the conquering of the American continents.

![]() Credits: 77,346 | Re: Code Geass- Alternate timeline? my apologies, i didnt realise i goofed up the title ![]() well, the "empire" could have had their own calendar, created during the time between now and 2015 (or whatever). and i think a monarchy like that would be cooler than a democracy, it not as if our "voice" matters anyway, but thats besides the point.
