Ed had a female seiyuu but shes not voicing Allen from Gray-Man. Go animenewsnetwork for more details.

As for the anime. It was a nice first episode while knowing little about it. Nice to have some comedy to ease up on the eerie and horror atmosphere the story produces. The first episode gave me a good impression so I will be following this one.

Romi PAKU - was the jap, v.a for Ed Elric,

    and

Sanae KOBAYASHI is Allen in this one. so yeah they're different.

however, i did see this when it was released, i love it thus for (eventhough its the first ep.), i see nice story and character introductions coming from the OP.
