I am a hige fan of mech animes. The concept of giant robots actually existing to me is fantastic. Since I know it probably won't happen in my lifetime this is kinda how I get to see what it could be like. Also the futuristic wepons that go with the mechs are awesome. I find that in these cases I like real robots animes becuase they can actually explain how the wepons and mechs work. Though I still do like some super robot anime like Vlotron the lack of explaining it to me in a way that it could actually works kinda keeps it from hitting higher than real robots anime on my list.

I pretty much like every thing. I do preffer animes with a lot of action and fiction. I also like animes base in mytology and history like Saint Seiya. Lately I have been watching Basilisk and the Avatar (I don't know if you can call the avatar an anime). I also have enjoy Platlabor and Case Close becuase they make you think.

Hmm my favorite animie genre would be animie dated in the fudal era.Not just in animie but also in real life ,but just not any type,i like it with alot of excitment and mystery,if u take the short animie basilisk for instants,it dates way way back when there was clans,samurai's and war's,but the best thing about it was the little twist,every member had some little specail power,my fav character and maybe like many others was gennosuke,his power was turning the oponets attack against them,inuyasha is also another good example.Also of course i like every kind of animie but yeah.Now the kinda of new animie Hoshin engi is also another example of what i love to watch.

My preferred genre for the most part is action/romance. Action may be all well and fine, but romance tends to help character development. I think there's a good balance of development episodes, where the characters and relations go more in depth, and action episodes, where the plot moves along.

For me, a premiere example of this would be Shakugan no Shana. You get a plotline from the action side that romances usually don't have a whole lot of, and you get the depth that pure action animes don't often get. It's a rather wonderful combination that I rather enjoy.

i would have to say i enjoy something with maney twists or alot of destruction tho i am not to picky on anime bleach,naruto,wolf rain and so on are among the best i like
