Thread: Describe your favorite Anime Genre!

I like the anime is Bleach . Ichigo is so handsome ` do you agree ?

It really depends on my mood cause if i'm in a good mood I like Romance and Action but if I'm in a bad mood I prefer Samurai and Vampire.

I myself rather enjoy the action fantasy genre,not just action but the kind with romance mixed in ya know? something that has insight and suspense and personally I like genre that have cliff hanger endings because then I can come up with my own hypothesis about what could happen ^^

So what is my Genre?

I totally agree with you, I mean some times when you are watching/looking for one type of anime for a long time and you are trying to find a really enjoyable series, you tend to find it in the most unexpected places. For example when One piece first started I had watched about the first 25 episodes on regular television, stopped watching it and i was left with a bad impression, but then when playstation network was hacked a few weeks ago i restarted watching it from the start, and now I'm already caught up(I skipped the fillers). It was the back stories that realy pulled me in(especially zoro's) and now its one of my favorite shows.

Any ideas for anime that comes from the 70s, 80s or 90s and in the 'genres' of man-huntin', post-apocalyptic 'cyber-punk' or 'real-world' action? My interests are along the lines of fist of the north star, gogol 13, mad bull; mainly the darker and more 'masculine(for lack of a better word) forms of anime.
