![]() ![]() | Re: Describe your favorite Anime Genre! I almost like evry genre bud i like romance/humor the most. The reason for this is that we al expiriense simuler situations so evryone knows whats it about, for instense Love Hina or Ai Yori Aoshi. There very easy to understand and very funy. But often whit just humor its often bassed on the Japanese coltuur so its dificult to understand if you dont no anything about Japanese coltuur, for instense Excel Saga. Its funy bud half of the jokes arent funy becose there dificult to understand

![]() ![]() | Re: Describe your favorite Anime Genre! hmmm I seem to lack a favorite genre...my collection is fairly well split between romantic comedy and sci fi/Fantasy with a good bit of end of the world stuff thrown in.I can say that the discs that see the most play on my dvd are the twelve kingdoms(I love watching Yoko grow from unsure girl to a great queen)and Rahxephon the motion picture(puts tears in my beard everytime). My 2 latest collections are Speed Grapher and Rumbling Hearts |

![]() ![]() | Re: Describe your favorite Anime Genre! Well, seeing as how I've seen alot of different genres that have entertained me, I cannot really make a choice on which would be my supreme favorite. However when it comes to full length movie anime, I would have to go for poingnant stories of self discovery with a moral behind them.(Galaxy Express 999, Princess Monoke, Nausaca, Howls Moving Castle, Metropolis) When it comes to series, Im a sucker for a stylized fast paced presentation with a story that sucks you in.(Cowboy Bebop, Lupin III, Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the Shell) However im not one to turn down a good shonen title, naruto etc. childish good fun, and a good mech title..mostly Macross, Transformers, and Gundam. To take it one step farther manga would have to be a good samurai title like Vagabond and Blade of the Immortal because I can stop and look at the scenes for hours due to the amazing skill of the artists. |

![]() | Re: Describe your favorite Anime Genre! I go for the shojo, dark/complex storylined, action/adventure anime and manga. They intrigue me. The shojo is just because I think it's absolutely adorable when couples get together..and I like to go along with story and see how their relationship turns out.. The dark/complex storylines because it gives me a few seconds to relieve myself of reality and gets me into the story. I love it...That's all i can say. And as for the action and adventure. I love it when characters fight. I love villains and I love protagonists. I also love it when there's a good sword fight every now and then... I.E's of these genres would be: Ayashi No Ceres Rurouni Kenshin Inuyasha Imadoki Ghost In The Shell Wolf's Rain omg, I can go on....but those are just the one's that are at the top of my head :] |

![]() ![]() | Re: Describe your favorite Anime Genre! im a big fan of....that's right! mecha! and i also like those animes that make you think, like paranoia agent, ergo proxy, ghost in the shell, etc, etc. i also enjoy a good mindless comedy, but animes that use TONS of cute girls for comedy i don't like. im a fan of witty banter and slapstick humor. a little sexual tension is also always good. |
