Do people still buy anime DVD's?

    Hello hello AO members,

It seems like everywhere I go people don't buy anime they download it. And curious me was wondering if there are people who still do buy the DVD's. Yes they are pricy but I like buying them because they are pretty looking @_@ and nice to have a hard copy of it. ^_^

Having owned an older, slower computer with very little space for a long time was the reason why I use to bought my anime - yet even now I still do. I dunno, I know I now can just easily go to youtube, or somewhere but I continue to buy them anyway (when I can). Habit I guess ^^

Im starting to buy dvds. I recently bought Shinkai's Collection (Voices of A Distant Star and The Place Promised In Our Early Days). Honestly, who just want semi decent quality of their favourite thing? For anime you want quality video and translations. When I get more money, Im gonna start buying one of my favourite series on dvd. Just gotta decide which one to start first.

People still buy DVDs, I'm fallowing...Hikaruo no Go, Hare+Guu, and Elemental Gelade. Other series are at their last volume if not already for me. As long as there are people who actually like anime and can afford it, it'll sell. o.O

I buy a lot of my anime on legal DVD. See, that's why people think that I have a lot of anime. I mean, I don't actually have so much more than everyone else, I just have a lot more physical anime, as opposed to a whole lot of people who just download everything.

Also, I believe in supporting the American anime industry. Or if I'm particularly fond of the dub.
