Thread: Which do you prefer: Manga or Anime?

I've gotten over my manga fix. I'll only buy one if it is REALLY good. I'm more of an anime person. Fansubs are lovely.

I like manga better. It just somehow holds my attention more, and I love having time to take in the beautiful artwork ^^ In addition, if there is something I wish to revisit from an anime or manga, I find it is easier to find it in the manga than in the anime. I guess partly that is because I am horrible with technology, but even if I did know how to work my DVD player I think I would still remember the manga better. For example, when I read a manga and then watch the anime I'm always like "That's not the outfit the character was wearing when that happened!", but I never remember anything like that if I watch an anime and then read a manga...

both mediums require reading (subtitles)
manga has more depth in story whereas anime has less story and more action
I like both
it's nice to read manga for the much more deeper character development and story depth and it's also nice to watch the anime and see these characters come to life and hear the music and feel the emotion instead of seeing it on ink-and-paper
sometimes one is better than the other

i prefer manga slighlty more than the animes because there is usually more blood, gratuitous violence (like in Naruto) and more um.....sensuality/Sexuality @_@. it's also nice because you get more than just one episode when you buy a manga. (8 or 9 chapters = 2 or 3 episodes for naruto manga.)

Hmmmmm this is hard but I think I rather have Anime.
