Thread: elfen lied

I have seen all 14 episodes and I own all the DVDs. I've read most of the manga. I think Elfen Lied is a great and emotional series though when it comes to gore, I think the Gantz manga is a lot better.

There was a special DVD episode that was released in Japan, that fit's in the storyline about three or 4 episodes before the end (which has never been released for US distribution), though it didn't change the story, or add any significant new information...

ohhh so is lucy still alive and does she still have her ears? the last thing i saw was the army shooting her ears off.

All it pretty much showed was how exactly they captured Lucy and that was pretty much it. Wasn't that bad. It's kind of considered an OVA by some people, but yeah, it's a special episode. Some people call it Episode 10.5.

Does anyone else fit in that shadow that you see in the end?

I think the shadow at the end is lucy just without her horns cause they got shot off. This is an awsome anime!

I never saw, I heard a lot of how it was bloody shallow anime with shock stuff. Kinda turns me off, but I already know I have bad tastes in anime.

From what I do know, the anime seems more it would be a comedy to me.
