Emma (manga) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This manga caught my eye at the book store many months back, but I never paid much thought afterwards. Now I had a renewed interested and after reading the wiki article it seems like a series I wouldn't mind reading. According to the wiki page, the author was a Anglophile (I guess the opposite to a Wapanese ) so supposedly he put tons of effort into recreating the setting of London in 1890s.

For sure I am going to either get the anime or buy the manga. But the thing is I want to see if anyone has already seen it or read it and what the thought about it. Of course if it's not as good as hyped then let me know so I can save some time and money.

EDIT: It seems they had quite a voice acting cast, too.
