Evangelion 2.0

Just starting this thread up to see what people thought about the Evangelion 2.0 movie "You Can (Not) Advance" - Personally, I have such mixed feelings when it comes to the series Evangelion. As much as I enjoy the fact that it throws me off so much by killing people off with more opportunity to develop, that is sort of a realistic, life sucks truth to it and it gets me every time (lol). Asuka dying before her and Shinji could hit it off really annoys me though, I mean can't we have some small happiness in this severely depressing, end of the world Anime? I kinda wish his dad would just die already and go to his own personal little hell with all his lovely EVAs and Angels (lol). Getting ready to watch 2.22 and hopefully that will clear some things up and turn out to be a great success as well. As much as I would like Evangelion to change for my selfish romance reasons, I don't think it would be the same afterwards and am happy it is the way it is. I have to say though as a closer, the animation looks great and the voices are perfect; ultimately there isn't anything I would change and I hope those who have not seen it enjoy and those who have seen it enjoyed it as much as I did! Masterpiece :D
