    FUNimation streams "Requiem for the Phantom"

    Grumble Grumble Grumble

    So FUNimation has acquired the digital distribution rights for another Anime series that is currently being broadcast for the spring season in Japan...
    Flower Mound, TX – April 23, 2009 - FUNimation® Entertainment is partnering with Japanese production company Media Factory for the U.S. digital distribution of the 26-episode action anime "Requiem for the Phantom" which debuted on Japan's TV Tokyo network April 2nd and airs Thursdays at 2:15 a.m.

    Starting Thursday, April 23rd at 10:30 a.m. CDT, FUNimation will deliver the first four episodes of the suspense-filled thriller which have aired in Japan to date followed by a new episode each week as it airs in Japan. Each episode will be high-quality, free, with the original Japanese dialogue accompanied by professionally created English subtitles and will stream via FUNimation Video Portal - Watch High-Quality Anime Videos for Free.

    Hmm, looks pretty interesting. Guess I can't judge it until I go watch those first four episodes though, eh? Thanks for the link and info!

    Loved the video game with a passion, the ova was disappointing, but this new series started out really great. Thanks Len for the heads up.

    Now time to get rid of the fansubs i have >_>;

    Yeah I'm quite like this series thought but the manga and anime is so different between this.
