i watched the first movie and then i forget which series but the one that ran on Adult Swim this past spring. it's always pretty good to have on while doing homework
May I ask why???? Like could you explain more in your post?

The two SAC series and Solid State Society really tied the story together into one big fantastic whole. Such an incredible amount of added value.
I've actually managed to get the DVD's for both of it's movies, plus I've seen most of the first series when it aired on the local TV channel SBS. I've also managed to get my hands on a 1:24 scale model Tachikoma, the "think tank" blue spider robot things, which doesn't look too bad at all. I've even found a YouTube clip set to the intro song of the series, "Inner Universe" apparently. It has pics of other mecha as the visuals, but it's still a good tune.
The Madman previously known as Daniel219
Wish I could get on here more often. *Sigh* The down side to night shift...
bpoponmyheart:yes the first movie was good but i wish it was tied in with the tv show but it was made by a diff.dractor
dancy_saz:well i like it caz it is place in the far fucher(but it is stated in the next 30 years)and in the first moive its got hints of the matrix in it and i love robotics so it like it
hassun:Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and 2nd gig then the end moive Solid State Society did tie some stuff but i still what to know what the magor did of the rest of her life
daniel219:ive got most of the dvd's but im missing ghost in the shell 2:innsens(i spelled that wrong but i hope you know what im talking about
i didn't know that about the directors. it has been a quite some time since i saw it but i did think it was well done. i haven't seen enough of the series to be disappointed or happy about the ending though i do remember thinking it was a bit random that she just fuses with the other person like that.
i like the concepts brought up in the movie such as living with cybernetics and the new moral and ethical questions that might be brought up as a result to this change in society. really neat.
soundtrack wasn't half bad either.
