    Ghost in the shell, question, spoilers

    Spoilers maybe..

    In the first movie Motoko went to the net, and in the second movie she's still there. When does she come back for the start of the series, or am I just misunderstanding? Does the series follow the same timeline?

    i belive Stand Alone Complex and 2nd GIG happen before any of the movies. they are mased more off the original manga.
