A close second on this list (and still bad enough to make you want to throw the DVD case at the screen) would be the series called Martian Successor Nadesico which ended the series on an extreme cliff hanger, to be concluded in the 2nd season that was never made. The one sequel that did come out was the movie Martian Successor Nadesico: The Prince of Darkness which was written as a sequel to the two novels and video games that came out after the TV series (and of course, never published in the US market...) which resulted in a story that made little sense to the US viewers, and didn't address the cliff-hanger ending of the TV series...

I would have to say Inuyasha, it had so much potential to end it with a bang but yet
when it ended it just seemed a little rushed in my opinion, considering the entire series
seemed like a filler, you would of thought the grand finale would be more epic.

If i had 2 choose what Anime had the worst endings.. I would choose Inuyasha. The show is good.. but, the endings suck!
Actually the series itself has ended through the manga. The creators Anime decided that they would stop production on that particular arc because it didn't seem like the story was going anywhere in the manga, but boy were they wrong. I know how it ended, if anyone wants to know, just PM me.
