Where Big O's ending, on the other hand, was not one simple aspect, but the entire episode was up for debate.

I know what you are trying to say, but I don't think you understand what I
am saying. I am saying that there might be a possibility that CB will be
finished and no longer a debate where as Big O, I have not heard anything
about any of the loose ends possibly cleared up, but thats just me.

i got you. Thanks for clearing that up.

But anyway, the ending of Spirited Away was a bit fuzzy for me. I'm not saying it was bad, it just felt kinda forced. apparently Chihiro and her parents were in the spirit world for months, or even years, due to the fact their car was covered in dust and undergrowth, it makes you wonder how long it truly was.

Again, I have to agree with you, I do like the movie a lot as being a female,
I love the change that Chihiro takes to growing up, by saving her parents,
making new friends, and not being such a whinny cry baby. Although that
scene where they are walking back to their car at the end, you can tell
that that was taken from the earlier scene at the beginning when they
first went into the building.

Though i'm not really somebody who often got turned-off by endings that doesn't suit my tastes i could still name a few that ended prematurely. Here's two of them:

One of the best sports anime of all time, Slam Dunk, is a pretty well received title. However, i think that one of its biggest flaws is the way the anime series ended.

After the major arcs.....They qualified for the inter-high competition followed by a couple of excellent episodes giving emphasis to major and minor characters it all boiled down to the infamous "Subway Episode".

I consider Flame of Recca as one of the worst anime series i've seen and the last few episodes all the way to the ending just basically told me to hate it more.

After the major arcs and final battles which answered and "un-answered" a couple of questions....Kurei got hit by a car, Recca's gang were celebrating and playing with fireworks....oh well.

*these shows covered only a couple of volumes from their respective manga counterparts, the stories continued on for better or for worse*

i loved the revolutionary girl utena movie, but the series was lacking at the end and left a lot unexplained...it could have been much better

I have to agree with you..Inuyasha had a totally disapointing ending..Honestly it shouldn't have ended like THAT. they should've obviously either a.) Naraku died and everyone lived happily ever after...or b.) bad guy wins?

worst ending??? tower of druaga... but i think the anime itself sucked
its about a number of different groups of people climbing a trecherous tower to reach the top to defeat a boss who'll grant them a special stone that'll make all wishes come true...

but the anime just ended halfway when they group defeated a 'mini-boss'... and that was way before they even reached the top...
