I cried when I watched Voices From A Distant Star. It's very short, but the way the story is told, you get sucked into it. You feel like you know the characters. It's really heartbreaking, but beautiful at the same time.
^_^
Gehhh. It depends on how emo you are. If you're like me you'll cry over ANYTHING, even Nodame Cantabile, which most people think isn't even remotely sad. Please Save My Earth and Wolf's Rain are pretty good tear-jerkers though. And if you don't mind the whole gundam thing Gundam SEED might do it for you (it did for me, but remember, I cry easily).

hmm the one anime that made me cry was elfen lied, the story line is so deep and a lot of sad twists
Trigun, over all the show was not intense but it did have tear jerker moments (at least for me)
Voices of a Distant Star (I have not seen it but from what I've heard)
Haibane Renmei did not make me cry however it came very close
yes i agree, trigun does have its moments, and ive never seen saiyuki do u know where i can see a few eps ?
Hmm, Trigun seemed to lack in the teary eyed moments myself, but they did have some points in it I suppose.
Hmm, I think Saiyuki also had some, but I haven't been able to see Reload or Gunlock, so I can't say much about them.
You can probably find Saiyuki at your local movie rental store. I remember seeing Reloaded being released in the one downtown from me, so I am sure that the first installment is already on the shelves.
they dont have anime at the rental stores around here, its either order it or find it online
Ordering sounds like the best option. I think Saiyuki is a licensed anime so it is probably against the rules to request some websites.
There are some good websites out there though for ordering I believe. Probably 'buy anime online' as a search option will give you a few thousand sites, so that may help. Some actually have some pretty good deals, like bundle packs and the such.
