The end of chobits made me sad because it was over.

Most endings of stuff just don't make me feel anything cept discouraged, for instance, the .hack legend of twilight ending, too empty. Also, the ending to Trigun, because it's not what I wanted to happen at all. But I shoulda saw it coming because of who Vash was as a character.

The ending of Fatal Fury the motion picture makes me cry every time, so I guess kind of a sad ending.

Uhm...I guess I don't really care that much how an anime ends, happy, or sad are good cus at least I feel something but I don't always feel something, cept relief that it's over.

There's more I could write here but I'm lazy so...that's all joo get.

I like...happy endings if it is for a couple. Like, Koga and Kagome from Inuyasha, I would have liked if they were together. Give him some credit atleast. But,in any other occasion, happy endings leave you in a good mood. lol.

Personally I watch anime as an escape from the real world. I deal with enough "sad" things in my life. So I prefer the happier endings or funny ones in anime, in all my escapism media for that matter (books, games, etc).

I mean, I can respect a well done sad ending. Though I prefer it be a little open ended. so that even if it is upsetting you can kind of make your own ideas, judgments, or even assumptions on what happened after the credits roll.

I always prefer happy endings. I get kind of disappointed if there is a sad ending. There has only been one anime where I think the sad ending worked

i think sad endings have more drama in the plot to an anime and more suspense^^ although happy endings are alright but its not my favorite tho lol

I'd say happy endings ... I actually can't stand bad ones. I mean, there may be some animes where a bad ending fits bitter, but generally speaking I definitely favor happy endings. Just because everything is fine afterwards and you have such a good feeling when finishing the anime.
