Yes sometimes that happens and sometimes even the stroyline gets changed some. That happend a lot in a anime called Card Captor Sakura. The english dub was kind of different in some places.Quote:

On another note I like dub over subs. Most of the time if a phrase or word doesn't have a direct translation then it won't in subs either. So I figure if anything the dub will be closer or if nothing else more convient.
