Maburaho is 24 episodes I think,also if you haven't seen them yet I would reccomend Scrapped Princess and My Hime although neither is really a comedy both have good character developement and excellent storylines

have you ever watched spriggen, it's not a series but it is a remarkable movie.
the character development is a little rushed, but the fact that they used blue as the main coloring scheme makes this one unigue. X is also good but i've only seen the movie not the series.

code geass is a good anime to watch. Its still kinda new, only 16 episodes subbed. I like the character design and it has mechs that look like knights.
