i followed the same craze most did starting from pokemon up to DBZ, after Gundam Wing my friend introduced me to Trigun, then i found Bebop and now Hellsing, i love it
I saw some lame anime on T.V.
Found a few manga's and got hooked into it.
That's as simple as it gets for me.

For me I started with Macross. I think I was 10, but years pasted and I was looking for more on and off. Now I am loaded with it everywhere.

Sad sad story for me
I really liked this guy and he was really into anime. I was not into anime but I felt like I needed to do something to have good conversation with him. So I was flipping through Adult Swim and decided to watch InuYasha and fell in love. From there I started watching all their anime shows, buying dvds, watching things online, and the whole thing blew up. I am now a HUGE anime fan....and we no longer date
uhm trigun at age 9 or 8 on adultswim by staying up long enough by accident
I turned on the tv and then I saw so anime and I thought it was cute and funney

I got hooked because people constantly watched it so I tried it out and I got hooked. Simple as that.
i got into anime by way of the original dragonball cartoon that was my first anime and i was hooked after that
