toonami... wen i was around 9 i think... i watched the whole block and fallowed it through TOM's evolution to TOM 2.0... DBZ and gundam wing where my first ones but my all time favs are cowboy beebop, outlaw star, and samurai 7... im always looking for exciting action anime's with good story's... and the sensless blow everything up one's but i need recomendations so i hope this forum helps me

When I was in sixth grade my younger brother wanted to show me this "new" show on the channel YTV called Dragon Ball Z and I was instantly hooked! I watched the whole series with him as shown on this kids channel. Once Dragon Ball Z series ended Esceflowne started. I was mesmerized!! Apparently though I was exposed to anime much earlier! When I was six or seven I used to watch a "cartoon" called Astro Boy, that I found out while searching anime online was an anime!!
Ive been hooked ever since!

I was about six years old when I watched my first anime which was Salor Moon and it was because my big sister would watch. It was every Saturday morning which was then followed by DragonBallZ, Pokemon, Digimon, and so on. They would actually air on normal broadcast television the first time I saw them. Anyway, I was basically hooked on them because the animation plus storyline attracted me to it. Thus, I became an anime fan; I hardley pick up manga though.

Yup, it was Toonami for me too. There was that one random occurrence of Sailor Moon, but I don't count it since I didn't even pay attention, I was too busy playing GameBoy with my cousin. I count my first anime as Voltron and Robotech (Macross Saga).

I remember I was staying up late working on some homework, I was like 15 years old or so and my brother (who was a tv hog) anyways he was watching Cowboy Bebop, ever since then I was hooked to anime.
