I don't agree with that..I think thats stupid i sacrifices my time from 6pm to 5am just to play computer watch anime and download anime movies.. but i don't steel from my parents.. if you are a wise anime addict you should control and discipline you self to achieve any thing..:angel:
I think i am in the midle of the otaku hill. I am not that anime addicted, unless the shows am watching are worth my time. Otherwise, i will be doing something else like working and earning money to buy other essenial stuff for life.
As far as down hill goes I've hit rock bottom. To attain any and all anime I have sacrificed food and lots of other nessecities to satisfy my hunger for it. I'm still in school but my parents have declared that all anime merchandise must be purchased with my own money so no help there either. Thankfully I don't have to give up human contact for my friends join me in my otakuness very often. But more than likely I'll be twenty one with a job and end up buying one pack of food and spending the rest on anime. Oh the joy!
Not very far down, I just need to watch more to get the ball rolling though. ^_~
Oh you could do what the smart people do and write your own anime series and try to get it released. By this methods you proverbially kill two birds with one stone.

I'm not that far down (I've only watched 3 full series ><), but I've got a huge list to get through!!
As for debt, not so much, only once have I brought a series!
And for school/uni, well I've been pretty good so far, but then death note came out over the hols for me, so when school starts Death Note still comes first for me lol!
