I think it is a good show i mean yes i do think it is a bit slow for a supposed action series but i mean it has a great story and it dosent bore you so i think it is preety good
That's just your opinion, I am sure you understand that, and I just stated mine. ^_^;; For me, it's a must-see. Yoko Kanno's opening songs [Inner Universe and Rise] are well enough to make it an awesome show, to me of course. The show isn't too bad, even though the action doesn't come on as fast. Still i've only watched a few eps and its ok.
I can't say anything on the show right now, I want to watch it and get into it but now it only plays at midnight and it's right in the middle of the series and I don't understand anything. ^_^
All in all i think its a good anime but there are some parts that i dont understand but thats only cuz i hate listening to politics. i can pick up on some of the stuff they talk about but overall i really could care less about politics :P..im jus in it for the action and stuff ^^

Two things:
GITS is one of the best animes ever.
Your friends are complete and utter idiots. (However I can't say anything different for some of my friends. Most don't even watch anime.)
