I have a question about the final few eps of Mai-Otome.

Okay. I was just wondering how old Shizuru is. Because I was wide-eyed and collecting my jaw off the floor just after Tomoe kissed Shizuru.

Why was I totally surprised even though it was obvious throughout the series that Tomoe loved Shizuru? Because Tomoe is, like, fourteen, and because I was asuming Shizuru was atleast a mid twenty-somethinger.

That's just weird. I knew the show was yuri and a bit strange, but I didn't think they'd let a kid sexually assault an adult...AND SUCCEED!


Oh, or was low profile lesbian sex the reward Tomoe was talking about for getting Shizuru out of prison.

And just when I thought there was no such thing as a ***k your way out of jail free card.
